Towson Hot Bagels Gets a New Look

Canton's Towson Hot Bagels expands.

You’re probably going to have to do a double take the next time you stop in to THB Bagels & Deli in Canton.

The neighborhood café has recently expanded its dining room by 1,000 square feet, allowing space for 50 more seats.

“It was a good move,” says Towson Hot Bagels (THB) co-owner Tony Scotto. “We saw that the business was growing and we needed more space.”

Along with the expansion of the dining room, the restaurant now features a new canopy, new signage with different colors, and an addition of booths allowing for more privacy when customers come in for business meetings during breakfast and lunch.

All renovations were complete in early September, just in time to celebrate the 15th anniversary of THB’s grand opening in Towson in 1999.

Although all three of THB’s locations have a unique vibe—especially Towson which is frequently inhabited by TU students and has been ranked #4 on Brobible’s list of 25 top hangover breakfast spots in the country—Scotto has always had a soft spot in his heart for the space in Canton.

“Canton has always been my baby,” he says. “I like the waterfront patio and the fact that parking is never an issue.”

THB’s full breakfast, lunch, and deli menu features breakfast sandwiches, omelets, salads, and its award-winning assortment of bagels.
