Seven Celebrations for the Ravens 2015 Home Opener

Welcome the birds back to M&T Bank Stadium with these purple parties.

Considering that the Ravens have started their season 0-2, we’re hoping that some hometown hype is just what they need to inspire a win against the Cincinnati Bengals this Sunday. As always, here’s a running list of game-day deals featured all season long, but be sure to also check out these special events to celebrate (finally!) welcoming our boys home.

Bmore Around Town Bengals vs. Ravens Purple Tailgate: The tailgating experts at Bmore Around Town are taking over Lot O at M&T Bank Stadium with this lively Ravens bash starting at 8:45 a.m. on Sunday. Before you make your way into the stadium, swing by the tented tailgate to chow down on hot-dogs, hamburgers, pulled pork, and baked ziti; take advantage of open bar access; and challenge friends to a game of cornhole or flip cup. All inclusive tickets are $35 and can be purchased here.

Tailgate Party at The Center Club: This swanky dining club recently celebrated the debut of its newest sports bar, Orioles Pub, just in time for football season. Whether you’re looking to enjoy a pregame party before heading over to the stadium, or just in search of a laid-back lounge to tune in with friends, the new spot will offer fans top-notch pub grub, $3 beers, and $3 Bloody Marys starting on Sunday at 10 a.m.100 Light St., Ste. 16, 410-727-7788.

Home Opener Party at Game: Located just a stone’s throw away from M&T Bank, you can hear the roar from the stands in the distance at this newly opened Federal Hill bar. To celebrate the team’s homecoming, Game is opening its doors at 9 a.m. and projecting the matchup on more than 25 big screens. And, of course, no bird bash is complete without satisfying eats and drinks, so sip specialty brews while munching on snacks like sliders, wings, nachos, and potato skins filled with crab dip. 1400 Warner St., 410-385-0100.

Jimmy’s Famous Seafood: With a menu full of local seafood specialties, it’s no wonder this Dundalk mainstay has a reputation as being a go-to hangout for many of the Ravens players themselves. To celebrate the first home game of the season, Jimmy’s will be hosting an all-inclusive tailgate at the stadium with former Raven Will Demps. For the price of admission, fans can take advantage of open-bar access, a full buffet, ice luge, other tailgating games, and bus transportation to and from the stadium. 6526 Holabird Ave., Dundalk, 410-633-4040

Mother’s Purple Patio: Decked out with Ravens-inspired murals and cornhole and Bearpong stations, the signature purple patio in Federal Hill is an ideal spot for bird watching. The usual home-game drink deal will be in full effect for Sunday, featuring all-you-can-drink mimosas, Bloody Marys, Orange Crushes, and beer on the patio for $30. 1113 S. Charles St., 410-244-8686.

Brunch at Rusty Scupper: Kickoff might not be until 1 p.m., but this harbor-side seafood spot is starting the party early with mid-morning festivities. Beginning at 10:30 a.m., diners are invited to indulge in an all-inclusive brunch featuring steamed shrimp, made-to-order omelets, Old Bay home fries, mimosas, and sangria. On top of the brunch buffet, Rusty Scupper will also offer a raffle for a Ravens jersey and serve $1 Natty Boh cans and Heineken drafts all day long. 402 Key Highway, 410-727-3678

Ravens Friday Night Tailgate: The Ravens cheerleaders are hosting bar crawls all over Baltimore on Friday nights throughout the season, and they’re kicking things off this week by painting Towson purple. This Friday, hang out with the cheerleaders while sipping beer and cocktails at well-known Towson haunts such as Charles Village Pub, The Greene Turtle, 7 West, Souris Saloon, and The Kent House Pub.
