The team at Growing Smiles Pediatric Dentistry believes that oral health awareness begins at a young age—even prenatally, in the form of parental education. In fact, infants should have an expert dental destination as soon as the first tooth erupts. “Preventive care early on will better protect dental health throughout life,” says Dr. Diana Capobianco, who started the practice in 2004. Dr. Capobianco and Dr. Lyman want parents of young children to know that visiting the dentist needn’t be stressful. Dr. Lyman, who joined the practice in 2011, is known as the singing dentist for the silly songs he sings to put children at ease. Aware that technological innovations are changing dentistry, both doctors keep up with trends by attending continuing-education courses, participating in study groups, and annually accruing double the required continuing-education credits in their field. They place great emphasis on ethics, integrity, and sincerity. Above all, Drs. Capobianco and Lyman believe that a successful business means a happy workplace, where everyone feels valued.
