Fun happens here! Summer at Garrison Forest is conveniently located just off of 695 in Owings Mills in a gated community on a beautiful 110-acre campus. With traditional day, specialty, equestrian and overnight offerings, there are plenty of opportunities to follow your dreams and explore your passions. Summer at Garrison Forest invites your child to discover new skills, dive deep into their creativity, play what they love and take their talents for a ride!

The Goucher Young Writers’ Camp is a one-week intensive creative writing workshop for high schoolers who love to write! Spend five days exploring fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction with award-winning writers and editors. Our seventh annual creative writing camp will take place on Goucher College’s beautiful 287-acre campus from June 22-26, 2026. Campers at the GYWC work with experienced author-instructors at the college’s renowned Kratz Center for Creative Writing to study multiple genres of creative writing in author-led workshops, participate in interactive writing activities and games, attend in-person seminars with visiting authors, start thinking about personal essays for college applications, learn about college life and the admissions process from college counselors and current Goucher students, and work with professional literary editors to create an anthology of camp writing at the end of the week. SUMMER AT JEMICY
Summer at Jemicy, designed for students with dyslexia or related language-based learning differences, endeavors to minimize the problem of summer learning loss by reinforcing and maintaining skills acquired throughout the school year. The four-week Lower School Program (grades 1-5) offers academic support in reading and math in the mornings and creative and recreational activities in the afternoons. Students in the Middle School Program (grades 6-8) can choose from 1 to 4 weeks, each featuring a unique, themed learning adventure that combines academics, arts, and community for a well-rounded educational experience.

The option to enroll in half-day, full-day, and weekly programs provides families with flexibility to meet their scheduling needs.

 

Join CTY this summer for rigorous, fresh, and fun academic programs at Gilman School and Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, The Woods Academy in Bethesda, and eight locations in California, Florida, New York, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island. CTY’s three-weekday and residential programs offer 70+ courses in math, science, writing, and the humanities for advanced learners in grades 2-12, plus social activities like talent shows and dances. CTY challenges students and connects them with an engaged community of learners from around the world. Residential students in grades 5-12 experience learning and living on a college campus. Lunch is included for day students in grades 2-8 and before- and after-care is available at select sites. Online courses in dynamic virtual classrooms are also enrolling.

 

The Peabody Preparatory, Baltimore’s premier community school for the performing arts, offers summer programs in music and dance for students of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels. Drawing on a century-long tradition of excellence, Peabody’s expert faculty provide high-level instruction that supports both artistic exploration and focused skill development.

The summer session runs June 20–August 8, 2026 at Peabody’s downtown Baltimore campus. Specialty summer programs are offered across five areas of study: cross-departmental studies, dance, guitar, piano, and strings. 2026 highlights include the Hip Hop Intensive, Summer Guitar Intensive, Peabody Piano Week, and Youth Piano Week. Private lessons and group classes in a wide range of instruments and styles are also available throughout the summer.

At Park Camps, our 100-acre wooded campus provides the perfect backdrop for exploration, learning, and growth. Our dedicated teachers and counselors take the time to understand each camper’s unique personality and interests, ensuring every child feels valued and supported. With a staff who genuinely enjoys the fun and adventure as much as the campers, we create an environment where everyone is inspired to thrive.

In summer 2026, Park offers a full 11 weeks of camp from June 9–August 21. The season begins with School’s Out Sports Camp (June 9–18), ideal for recreational and competitive athletes to get active and refine their skills. During these first two weeks, we are also excited to partner with PedalPower Kids, offering a camp in which campers get a half-day in Park Camps and a half-day in the Learn to Ride program. From June 22 to August 7, our main offerings include Day Camp (Ages 3.5-10), Specialty Camps (Ages 10-14), Adventure Camps (Ages 8-14), and a CIT Program (Ages 12-15). The summer wraps up with two additional weeks (August 10-21) of Adventure Camps and PetalPower Kids partner camps, ensuring campers stay engaged till the season’s end.

All camps (except for the CIT program) are one week long with new options starting each Monday. Camp runs from 8:30 am-3:15 p.m., and also offers extended care from 3:15-5:30 p.m.
