Michael DeMarco, DO is a physiatrist with over 15 years of experience. He holds the following board certifications:

Dr. DeMarco hails from New Jersey, where he studied exercise science at Rutgers University. He earned his medical degree from the School of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2000. In addition to academic awards, he served as president of his class and president of the school.

After medical school, Dr. DeMarco served in the US Army. He completed his internship and residency at the prestigious Walter Reed Army Medical Center. While in the military, he was recognized for excellence in education for medical residents.

Dr. DeMarco is active in the American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine and American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. He is chairperson of the Maintenance of Certification Committee of the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine and served as an oral examiner. He has authored several articles on combat casualty care, and a book chapter on the care of peripheral nerve trauma.

When Dr. DeMarco is not doctoring, he enjoys outdoor activities with his wife and two children, as well as cooking and playing golf.

In practice for 15 years, Dr. Sharma of Interventional Pain Institute (IPI) provides holistic, multimodal approaches to help patients with both the neurologic and orthopedic conditions that cause pain. IPI is also a one-stop shop offering addiction counseling, physical and occupational therapy, and medical cannabis recommendations.

Dr. Sharma received his undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin focusing on chemical engineering with research on Raman spectroscopy and oxygen radical reaction mechanisms, earned a doctorate of medicine with honors from the Medical College of Wisconsin, and was selected in his senior year to train in integrative, complementary, and alternative medicine in India. He completed his residency in anesthesiology and critical care at Johns Hopkins University.

Named among “Leading Physicians of the World” and a “Top Doctor” by the International Association of Anesthesiologists, Dr. Sharma was previously on staff at Johns Hopkins, and was director of Pain Medicine at MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital.

Dr. Gurtej Singh is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation as well as pain management. He specializes in:

Dr. Singh was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. He received his medical degree at Penn State University College of Medicine. He was Chief Fellow in the Department of Pain Medicine and Palliative Care at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City. Most recently Dr. Singh developed the physical medicine and rehabilitation pain program at Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC) before joining Orthopaedic Associates of Central Maryland (OACM) a Division of the Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics.

Over the past six years, he has been part of two different boards – one serving philanthropic initiatives for the Towson community and the other, the Board of Trustees for his undergraduate school. Dr. Singh has also lectured on multiple occasions to residents in the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Maryland Medical Center.

Dr. Singh is a fellow of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and a member of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, North American Neuromodulation Society, North American Spine Society, and American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. He is a speaker and instructor for Medtronic where he teaches physicians how to perform spinal cord stimulation, utilize intrathecal pumps, and treat spinal fractures with kyphoplasty.
