Fitness fans joined Baltimore on the rooftop of the Natty Boh Tower for a sunset yoga class on the evening of May 23. The hour class, led by the team at M.Power Yoga, offered a practice open to all levels of yoga. NAMI Metro Baltimore welcomed yogis with a brief introduction on the organization and its wonderful initiatives. The class commenced and attendees were led through a rockin’ flow with live music played by M.Power’s very own Jason and Joel Herd. While moving through sun salutations, guests enjoyed incomparable views of Baltimore.

Attendees refreshed during our post-class happy hour with Chandon’s new “Sweet Star” sparkling wine and also took home sunglasses and microfiber towels. Whole Foods provided KIND bars and our friends at lululemon raffled off three special items. One lucky winner went home with a free month of yoga, courtesy of M.Power yoga.

The event beneficiary, NAMI Metro Baltimore, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of those struggling with mental illness. NAMI offers family support, peer education, public education, and advocacy to aid in the battle against mental illness and the stigma surrounding these sicknesses.
