Meet the Beauty and Wellness Experts

Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Hábitat Seya Wellness

Our Meet the … Series kicked off its first event, Meet the Beauty and Wellness Experts on January 10th at Hábitat Seya Wellness. The lovely, talented beauty experts featured in our January issue participated in an inspiring panel and discussed the many influences social media has on their perceptions of beauty. Lauren Bell, Baltimore’s Style Editor, proposed riveting questions for Lauleh Aslani, Dayna Bolden, Vanessa Ulrich, Alexis Wilkins, and Rahzé Cheatham, all of whom genuinely and passionately shared their experiences with ever-evolving beauty standards.

The room was filled with high spirits, laughs, and stunning flower arrangements from Flowers and Fancies. While Truly served their Wild Berry Sparkling Seltzer, guests shared their favorite #trulybeautiful moments. Copper Kitchen created an artful charcuterie table with an assortment of fine cheese, spreads, breads, and other lite bites. Local hair stars, Ash + Oak Salon braided the night away with their braid bar and the brow connoisseurs from The Loft found the perfect arc with brow consultations. Not only was the Hábitat Seya Wellness space magical, but they also provided home-made rejuvenating and calming bath salts. Welltribe shared their dietary expertise and inspired all to live healthily and happily. And, of course, a party is not complete without our favorite Pixilated photo booth.

This event benefited the incredible work of I Support the Girls, an organization that has helped over 180,000 homeless girls and women by collecting 350,000 bras and 1,800,000 menstrual hygiene products.

A big thanks to Erin Douglas for capturing the beauty of the event, atmosphere, and attendees.

Be sure to check out our Meet the … Series site for upcoming events.
