LONDON SIMONS
At Maryvale Preparatory School, London is a leader on and off the field as a student ambassador and the track and field team captain. She takes her title very seriously, creating workouts and drills for her team so they can constantly improve. When she’s not chasing down medals or making honor roll, London volunteers her time by serving young children on National Night Out in Baltimore City. Set on studying at an Historically Black College or University to become a pediatric nurse, London began networking with medical professionals last summer through a program at Johns Hopkins Hospital. She has also started a toy drive at St. Mark School in Catonsville, served as an election judge, and sponsored less fortunate families during the holidays.
