The Boys' Latin School of Maryland is the oldest K – 12 all-boys school not just in Baltimore or Maryland, but throughout the mid-Atlantic. For 175 years we have focused on understanding how boys learn best. We instill the core values of courage, compassion, and integrity in each boy as embodied in our motto Esse Quam Videri (to be rather than to seem). At Boys' Latin, each boy is known for who he is and who he wants to become. Our world-class faculty, challenging academics, and character education are the hallmarks of a Boys' Latin education and prepare our boys for the challenges and opportunities of the 21st-century.
