Simply put, people either donate to ALS, pour a bucket of ice-water over their heads, or both.

But our favorite challenge came from former Raven and ALS patient O.J. Brigance and his wife Chanda. 

In the video, posted below, the couple encourages everyone to donate to his foundation, the Brigance Brigade. They also challenge NFL Hall of Famer Cris Carter, recent Hall of Fame inductee Aeneas Williams, NFL Executive Troy Vincent, actor Josh Charles, Michael Phelps, and Tyler Perry.

Additionally, they issued a special challenge to NFL commissioner Roger Goodell to establish an annual ALS Awareness Day during the season. Let’s hope he follows through!
