Representatives from the organization, devoted to preventing violence against women and children, will be at the event to collect donations for its&nbsp;<a href="https://www.facebook.com/events/767750456622815/">One Great Thing</a> fundraiser at&nbsp;<a href="http://www.hruth.org/ruths-closet-boutique.asp">Ruth&#8217;s Closet</a> (Thursday, October 23 through Sunday, October 26). <p><strong>Shop Around Saturdays at Stevenson Village</strong></p>
<p>There’s still time to take advantage of&nbsp;<a href="http://stevensonvillage.com">Stevenson Village’s</a> September Saturdays. Drop in this Saturday, September 20, or next Saturday, September 27 (between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.) to receive your very own eco-friendly gift bag, which participating vendors will continue to fill with goodies as you shop throughout the day.</p>
<p><strong>SWS Presents Mini Fall Fashion Show &amp; Mixer at Gallery 788</strong></p>
<p>Baltimore-based fashion blog,&nbsp;<a href="http://strangerswithstyle.com/">Strangers with Style</a> (which recently&nbsp;<a href="http://www.baltimoremagazine.net/2014/7/8/stranger-with-style-re-launch-party">re-launched</a>), will host its first<em>&nbsp;</em>fashion show at&nbsp;<a href="http://g788.org">Hampden’s G788</a> next Wednesday, September 24.&nbsp;In addition to the show (which will feature models decked out in pieces from local boutiques), attendees will enjoy shopping, music (by local musician&nbsp;<a href="http://www.alrogersjr.com/">Al Rogers Jr</a>.), food, and drink.</p>
<p>The event is free to attend, but a $5 donation is encouraged. All donations will benefit the gallery.</p>

The runway, beginning around 7 p.m., will showcase looks from DC-based designers, Afua Sam of&nbsp;<a href="http://www.studiodmaxsi.com">STUDIO D&#8217;MAXSI</a> and Ean Williams of&nbsp;<a href="http://www.corjor.com/#/about-us">Corjor International</a>, as well as more experimental fashions and costume designs from&nbsp;<a href="http://www.naomidavidoff.com">Naomi Davidoff</a>.</p>

<p>This Saturday,&nbsp;<a href="http://www.mica.edu/Events_and_Exhibitions/Week_of_Fashion_2014/XIX_An_Experimental_Fashion_Event.html">XIX: An Experimental Fashion Event</a> will kick off this year&#8217;s&nbsp;<a href="http://www.mica.edu/Events_and_Exhibitions/Week_of_Fashion_2014.html">MICA Fashion Week</a>. The event will feature a runway show, fashion, costumes, puppetry and performing arts, showcasing the work of MICA students. Take a look at some&nbsp;<a href="http://www.mica.edu/Browse_Art/XIX_An_Experimental_Fashion_Event_2014.html">pieces from this year&#8217;s collection</a>.</p>

The event will feature students&#8217; one-of-a-kind pieces, constructed from unique materials, that will represent them as designers.</p>
<p>Proceeds will benefit the Office of Diversity and Intercultural Development, as well as students involved in diversity programs.</p>

Come out to celebrate <a href="http://www.historicfederalhill.org/www">Federal Hill&#8217;s</a> seventh annual <a href="https://www.facebook.com/events/207389102789630/">Fest-of-All &#038; Fashion Show</a> held at the <a href="http://www.thebmi.org">Baltimore Museum of Industry</a>.</p>
<p>The neighborhood tradition features a fashion show stocked with the latest looks from local boutiques, including <a href="https://www.facebook.com/pages/American-Apparel-Federal-Hill/182997105068858">American Apparel</a>, <a href="http://www.thebridalsuitemd.com">The Bridal Suite</a>, <a href="https://www.facebook.com/shoppandorasboxboutique">Pandora&#8217;s Box Boutique</a>, <a href="http://www.phinas.com">Phina&#8217;s for the Home</a>, <a href="http://selehfurstailoringdesigns.com">Seleh&#8217;s de Federal Hill</a>, <a href="https://www.facebook.com/UABrandHouse">Under Armour</a>, and <a href="https://www.facebook.com/pages/Vanessa-Vintage-Treasures/125938554126338">Vanessa&#8217;s Vintage Treasures</a>. </p>
<p>All night enjoy live music from <a href="http://therealgeniuses.com">The Real Geniuses</a>, a<br />
 local party band who specializes in &#8217;80s hits. Also, be sure to take<br />
part in the silent auction, which includes a variety of wins—even some<br />
trip packages!</p>
<p>Proceeds from the event will benefit <a href="https://www.facebook.com/pages/Federal-Hill-Main-Street/50902848550?id=50902848550&#038;sk=info">Federal Hill Main Street</a>, a nationally recognized, nonprofit organization devoted to improving the area.</p>
