			<p><em>Art Space is a recurring element in the UpFront section of our print publication that spotlights a local artist or project making an impact in the city at large. Here’s what’s going on this month:</em></p>
<p>In 2019, following a series of <a href="https://www.baltimoremagazine.com/section/community/scenes-from-the-trump-demonstrations-outside-house-republican-retreat/">disparaging remarks</a> about Charm City made by then-President Donald Trump, one native Baltimorean took notice and was inspired to correct the narrative.</p>
<p>As the host of <a href="https://www.thetruthinthisart.com/"><em>The Truth In This Art</em></a>, podcaster Rob Lee (pictured,) aims to elevate his hometown through the stories of local creatives and small businesses, such as photographer Devin Allen, chef Carlos Raba of Clavel, and musician Sam Herring of Future Islands.</p>
