Archbishop Curley High School is an all-male Catholic Archdiocesan High School in the Franciscan Tradition. Named after the Tenth Archbishop of Baltimore, Michael J. Curley, the school has served the Baltimore metropolitan area since 1961.
From its opening, Curley has been staffed by Conventual Franciscan Friars and dedicated lay men and women, who together have filled the buildings and students with the spirit of Jesus and St. Francis of Assisi.

A strong academic program, designed for 21st century learning, a competitive athletic program and a diverse arts program are hallmarks of a Curley experience. What is unique to Curley is the Franciscan dimension, which values the individual and emphasizes the Five Franciscan Ideals in learning and life. It is a school “where Brotherhood begins.”

Friends School of Baltimore is a private, Quaker, coeducational, college preparatory school for students in pre-K through grade 12. As Baltimore’s first school, we have been rooted in enduring Quaker values—simplicity, peace, integrity, community, equality, and stewardship—for over 240 years, which empower us to be progressive, inclusive, and forward-thinking.

A Friends education combines challenging academics with high standards of integrity, encouraging students to be curious, confident, and fully themselves. We believe in a balance between academics, athletics, and the arts. Our schedule gives students the time and space to explore academic interests and individual passions.

Our curriculum fosters critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and resilience. Students take an active role in their learning, discovering how to think, not just what to think. We believe great teachers teach the individual child in front of them, and we are committed to making every student feel known, supported, and challenged.

Grounded in reflection and driven by curiosity, our students graduate ready to thrive. When students start their journey at Friends, they’re prepared to go anywhere.

Providing life-altering educational opportunities that inspire joy in learning and promote personal and intellectual growth is at the heart of the McDonogh experience. The School’s talented and caring teachers prepare students to lead and to be a force for good in a rapidly changing world.

In addition to state-of-the-art academic, art, athletic, and equestrian facilities, McDonogh’s 800-acre campus provides countless opportunities for learning and exploration. A unique highlight is Roots, a 10-acre farm where students benefit from hands-on experiences, including harvesting produce for The Maryland Food Bank. McDonogh’s fleet of 20 buses serves Baltimore City and surrounding counties. The five-day boarding option allows Upper School students to experience activities, traditions, spirit, and community to the fullest.

St. Paul’s School for Girls (SPSG) is an independent, college-preparatory school serving girls grades 5-12. Grounded in the Episcopal values of respect, integrity, and spiritual growth, SPSG cultivates a bold and courageous community of unique girls who will use their education and ethics to improve their world. Through its extensive connections and alumnae network, the school provides unparalleled learning through independent projects, professional internships, community service and nonprofit partnerships. As part of The St. Paul’s Schools, SPSG shares a campus with St. Paul’s Pre and Lower School and St. Paul’s School.
