Inspired by her late father’s dream of opening a taqueria in Mexico City, Jimena Portillo turned that vision into reality in 2011 with her husband, Gelmin, when they launched Taco Love Grill. What began as a single neighborhood spot has evolved into a growing family of concepts, including Taco Love White Marsh, Taco Love Federal Hill, Birria Love Parkville, Tito’s Fried Chicken by Taco Love in Bowleys Quarters, and the newest addition, Taco Love Grill at McHenry Row. Celebrated for authentic Mexican dishes made from time-honored family recipes, the brand has built a loyal following across the region. From rich birria and hearty tortas to carne asada and handcrafted margaritas or mezcal cocktails, each experience is designed to be vibrant and memorable.
