For 50 years, Project PLASE has given Baltimore’s most vulnerable residents something everyone deserves: a stable place to call home.

Since 1974, we’ve provided emergency and permanent housing paired with real, hands-on support — case management, healthcare coordination, addiction recovery services, and job readiness — to veterans, families, and individuals facing homelessness, disabling illness, and trauma most other programs turn away.

Last year alone, we housed and served 1,187 people across Baltimore, including 557 veterans and 224 families, and 95–100% of residents in our permanent supportive housing programs stayed housed year after year.

This year, we’re opening Beacon House Square, 90 new units of trauma-informed housing in Southwest Baltimore. Because housing isn’t just shelter. It’s stability. And stability changes everything — turning survival into a future.
