Junior Achievement 18 Under 18 Awards - 2025

It is with great excitement that we welcome Junior Achievement (JA) of Central Maryland’s 2025 class of JA 18 Under 18 honorees. Congratulations!

Our ongoing partnership with Baltimore magazine offers us an incredible opportunity to profile youth who are the best and brightest our area has to offer—the up-and-comers who show entrepreneurial spirit, leadership, community service, and an overall extraordinary skillset.

These 18 students are innovating and achieving at a level that belies their youth. They are using their talents to create art, run their own nonprofits, assist senior citizens, spread public health messaging, and more. They are school and community leaders, student athletes, and artists. They are, in a word, remarkable.

Please read on to meet these promising leaders of tomorrow.

It’s been three years since we partnered with Baltimore magazine to bring JA 18 Under 18 to print. You might expect that with each passing year we would become accustomed to hearing about talented, involved youth. And yet each year we are more impressed than the last at the many ways young people today are innovating, reaching out, and making a difference in their communities. This program is a testament to the power and promise of our youth, especially when they have the support of mentors—parents, teachers, pastors, and more—who believe in their talents and dreams.

At Junior Achievement, we get to see this potential in action every day. As one of the largest providers of youth services in the region, we will offer mentorship and support to almost 35,000 students in 2025. Through our work and career readiness experiences, and financial literacy and entrepreneurship programs, we develop youth with the mindsets and skillsets to open doors for greater economic opportunity.

The JA 18 Under 18 program lets us celebrate, elevate, and empower these young leaders. We congratulate this year’s honorees and applaud their hard work. We are so grateful to have them as part of our JA family.
