2002 Clipper Park Road, Suite 300, Baltimore, MD 21211
Julia Arfaa began her law practice in 2013 with one assistant and one desk in her home. They were crammed into a room so small they had to squeeze by the copy machine, and the telephone sat on a cardboard box. Six months later, she and her assistant moved to a small rented office in Clipper Mill. Since then, ARFAA Law Group has grown to include an associate, six full-time employees, and a summer intern, and it now occupies two floors in Clipper Mill.
The firm specializes in helping those facing medical-malpractice catastrophes. As a child, Arfaa would accompany her physician father on hospital rounds and grew to love medicine, inheriting his passion for helping those in need. After graduating from Smith College, Arfaa obtained her law degree from the Syracuse University College of Law and went on to become a partner at two of Maryland’s leading medical-malpractice firms before launching her own business. Arfaa has been featured as Baltimore’s Face of Medical Malpractice in 2018 and 2019, and has been recognized by the American Board of Trial Advocates, the National Trial Lawyers Top 100, and as a Super Lawyers Top 50 Female Attorney.
