Excellence in Nursing

On Thursday, May 19, Baltimore magazine was proud to celebrate 100 of the region’s top nurses spanning 21 specialties for their extraordinary contributions to healthcare. Honorees were hand selected by Baltimore magazine editors alongside a panel of nurse advisors.
The winning nurses, along with 375 of their peers, friends, and family enjoyed a cocktail hour with refreshing beverages and hors d’oeuvres before dinner and a welcome from WYPR’s health and housing reporter, Sarah Y Kim, and presenting sponsor Johns Hopkins.

An awards presentation followed, and each nurse was presented a custom plaque by Allogram to celebrate their accomplishment. Each table was adorned with florals by Baltimore Blossoms, decorated by Setting the Scene Decor and a featured custom cupcake by Yia Yia’s Bakery.
