Top Singles Party

Sunday, February 26 2017 at Bar Vasquez

On February 26, locals donned their best-pressed suits and head-turning cocktail dresses and strutted over to Baltimore magazine’s annual Top Singles fête, hosted this year at the newly revamped Bar Vasquez. Per tradition, Baltimore featured 20 of the city’s most eligible in its February issue and welcomed an additional 200 bachelors and bachelorettes all ready to meet, mingle, and party. Bar Vasquez provided bites from its acclaimed menu and diverse wines from the cellar. Whiskey Girl decorated the upstairs whiskey bar with its signature lipstick kiss inventory and shook, stirred, and twisted specialty whiskey cocktails all evening. Tito’s Vodka also embraced the theme by offering “Flirty Fizz” and “The Charmer” specialty drinks at the main bar. In no time, the dance floor was packed with partygoers thanks to the upbeat jams provided by DJ Kopec. For those needing a break to cool off, Evolution Craft Brewing was on the ready with its bar stocked with refreshing beer. Guests took turns lining up for the Pixilated Photo Booth complete with a live flower wall backdrop from UrbanStems, who also handmade romantic flower crowns and bright boutonnieres for the Top Singles. The party’s charity partner, BARCS, was onsite talking to guests about ways to help furry friends in need. (A portion of Top Singles proceeds will benefit the continued efforts of BARCS in the Baltimore communities.) When it was time to say goodbye, there was one more surprise in store: fresh bouquets from UrbanStems’ build-your-own bouquet bar, which were a perfect way to remember a fun night, or perhaps just the right parting gift to bestow upon a new crush.
