Known as one of Baltimore’s best waterfront bashes, Maritime Magic–once again—did not disappoint. Some 2,300 folks filled the Frederick Douglass-Isaac Myers Maritime Park at the annual Living Classrooms Foundation fundraiser. They mingled under tents lit with thousands of sparkle lights and followed a winding trail of food stations and bars from scores of local restaurants and caterers. Adding to the festive fall atmosphere was live music provided by Rufus Roundtree and Da B’More Brass Factory, as well as Tank and the Bangas.

It might have been October, but for Sasha Ponce, the evening’s mild temperatures meant “summer hasn’t left yet.” The Keller Williams Lucido realtor made a splash at Maritime Magic in a white voile dress accented with gold disc belt and earrings. And those catchy wrap flat sandals? The perfect style-meets-comfort accessory for an evening spent standing on sidewalks.
Ponce also proudly pointed out another aspect of the outfit—it all came from Shein.com, the discount site that is her favorite place to shop.
“Style doesn’t have to cost you a lot. You are your own label,” she declared.
