Spirited cocktails were the focal point at the Baltimore Bartenders’ Guild’s 12th-annual “Ryes Up Against Cystic Fibrosis” competition, which once again took on a Halloween theme this year. A 21-and-over crowd—many in costume—filled the Sagamore Pendry Baltimore ballroom to sample a variety of rye whiskeys, as well as cocktails entries created by local bartenders. Adding to the evening’s “booze and boos” fun were bites from local vendors and a costume contest. As always, money raised from the event was donated to the Maryland chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
