Restaurants at Harbor Point offer something for every palette
By Harbor Point

Harbor Point, Baltimore’s newest waterfront neighborhood, has become known as a destination for exceptional yet approachable food hotspots. Fall, with its shorter days and nights built for cozy meals, is the perfect time to sample one of three unique cuisines—French, Spanish, and Italian—being served by award-winning chefs at Harbor Point.

La Jetée

La Jetée is a lively, waterfront Provençal bistro from James Beard Award-winning chef and restaurateur Spike Gjerde, of Woodberry Kitchen. Inspired by the culinary traditions and flavors of the South of France, menus at La Jetée highlight Chesapeake fish and shellfish, and a vibrant, seasonal diversity of fruits, vegetables, and herbs purchased directly from the region’s best regenerative farms.

Like a true French bistro, La Jetée is open all day, seven days a week. You can grab a quick coffee and a croissant to go, sit and enjoy a glass of wine and a snack, or celebrate a special occasion with a three-course meal – all while gazing out over the harbor.

For brunch, choose between sweet and savory buttermilk crêpes, from pear compote with salted caramel and whipped cream to lobster with béchamel and chervil. Dinner is equally suited to an easy weeknight meal or a celebratory evening out. Keep it casual with a burger or mussels and fries at the bar or gather around a grand shellfish plateau before moving on to yellowfin tuna au poivre, steak frites, or lamb shank Provençal, accompanied by a spritz,  pastis, or a glass of wine from the curated list.

Josefina

An elegant and modern approach to Spanish fine dining from James Beard Award nominee Chef David Zamudio (formerly of Alma Cocina Latina), Josefina brings together refined technique, bold Mediterranean flavors, and a warm, convivial style of dining that celebrates sharing, conversation, and the joy of gathering around the table.

At Josefina, every dish tells a story of place, craft, and culture; creating a dining experience that feels both sophisticated and welcoming. Standout tapas, including the Rabo de Toro dumplings, invite guests to share and explore, while modern interpretations of Spanish classics, from the rich duck rice to vibrant seafood paella, bring a fresh perspective to tradition. Behind the bar, an expansive wine selection and inventive craft cocktails offer the perfect complement to every course.

Marta al Mare

James Beard Award nominee Chef Matthew Oetting is expanding his acclaimed Marta restaurant to Harbor Point this fall, but with a few new twists. Marta al Mare will serve guests American cuisine with an Italian soul. In addition to the classic dishes and signature hand-shaped pasta that made the original Marta an instant hit in Baltimore, the menu at Marta al Mare will boast a seasonal seafood-forward approach. You can expect dishes such as lobster saltimbocca, toro arancini, and whole grilled turbot. Also new at Marta al Mare will be an expanded brunch, available six days a week.

Further seeking to create an authentic coastal dining experience right on the harbor, Marta al Mare will have an outdoor dining area that overlooks the 4.5-acre Point Park and offers stunning waterfront views.
