Baltimore magazine’s Women Who Move Maryland Cocktail Reception

Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Michael's Café

On February 20, Baltimore magazine hosted its annual Women Who Move Maryland event at Michael’s Café, celebrating local female leaders highlighted in the special section of Baltimore’s February issue. The cocktail reception brought together women from all aspects of business, finance, and entrepreneurship–all who rallied around the important cause of women’s heart health. Continuing its partnership with the American Heart Association’s Maryland chapter, Baltimore was proud to donate to the American Heart Association, and in particular, support the Go Red of Women campaign, a group that continues to dedicate recourses and volunteer time towards bettering local communities with educational programming and disease awareness. Cigna, which returned as this year’s title sponsor, echoed similar sentiments and emphasized the importance of living a healthy lifestyle as a key to prevention. After the program, attendees enjoyed an array of light fare from Michael’s Café and sipped on delicious specialty cocktails provided by Johnnie Walker, whose recent campaign focuses on the empowerment of women and supporting positive female role models. Additional support of the Women Who Move Maryland section came from BrightView Senior Living and University of Maryland Medical Center.
