In Good Company: Shaping Company Culture

Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Sagamore Pendry

Baltimore professionals gathered at the Sagamore Pendry on January 29 to listen to local expert, David Lunken, discuss the most effective ways to shape company culture. Lunken uses the Predictive Index (PI) behavioral assessment to collect real data that ensures clarity, fit, and understanding within a business. Attendees learned how PI measures behaviors and the communication, decision making, delegation, and risk that composes a company’s culture.

The Pendry hosted a gorgeous assortment of pastries, bagels, fruits and, of course, coffee in its grand ballroom, which created a picturesque atmosphere that left guests in awe of one of Baltimore’s finest hotels. Flowers & Fancies crafted beautiful flower arrangements that complemented the elegance of the space. Mumaw Claster Group provided guests with eco-friendly notebooks (to honor Blue Water Baltimore) to use during the speech and discussion. With networking as the main theme of the event, CC&A Strategic Media sponsored name tags to ease connections, and our friends at Pixilated added another fun element with their always-popular photo booth.

Professionals from various business backgrounds came together, exchanged experiences, and learned from one another. Our partners at Weller Development co-hosted this fabulous event where guests learned how to effectively foster culture in the workplace, improving their business and maybe even themselves.

Our year-long In Good Company series benefits Blue Water Baltimore, which strives to improve Baltimore’s waterways through a holistic set of programs. Using arts and education, stormwater management projects, and legal and legislative advocacy, this organization promotes the importance of sustainability to all citizens in the community.

A special thanks to the talented Theresa Keil, who captured the best moments of networking, the beauty of the space, and the power of David Lunken’s speech.
