Lisa Rusyniak has spent 25 years working for Goodwill and has dedicated herself to addressing poverty in the community through the power of work. As President and CEO for the past 10 years, she is committed more than ever to connecting those with barriers to employment and careers. Despite the many challenges in the past year, Goodwill moved forward with virtual services, placing over 850 individuals into jobs and providing additional services to thousands of people. As a social enterprise, Goodwill uses the sale of donated goods to fund its workforce development programs. Rusyniak has been inducted into The Maryland Daily Record’s Circle of Excellence and Goodwill has been voted one of Baltimore’s Best Places to Work in numerous publications.
