Drs. Feldman, Slevin, Hurwitz, and Choe combine the specialties of periodontics and prosthodontics with implant dentistry for a comprehensive approach to improve the appearance and health of your smile. Our practice offers cuttingedge technologies such as: cone-beam CT scans with X-Nav Surgical Navigation, digital X-rays, and computer-aided design and manufacturing processes. We also use both the Dexis digital impression systems, which use an optical scanner for increased precision, speed, and comfort, often eliminating the need for traditional, uncomfortable dental impressions. These systems allow our doctors to plan and control every facet of treatment, from surgical planning for guided and flapless implant placement to the final restoration. We have also incorporated the I-Metric digital scanning system to full arch cases eliminating the use of impression material. Our practice employs many levels of sedation. Additionally, we routinely perform highly aesthetic, single-tooth and full-arch implant restorations with temporaries placed at the time of surgery so you never have to be without teeth.
Dr. Sylvan Feldman is the founder of the Implant Periodontal Prosthesis Program at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, serves as an associate clinical professor for the Department of Periodontics, and is a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and of the American Board of Periodontology.
Dr. Choe earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and completed his advanced education at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. He also received hospital-based training at the Baltimore Veterans Affairs Hospital.
Dr. Slevin received his undergraduate and Doctorate of Dental Surgery degrees at West Virginia University, earning his certificate in periodontics, Master of Science, and Implant and Periodontal Prosthesis Fellowship at the University of Maryland.
Dr. Hurwitz earned her undergraduate, Doctorate of Dental Surgery, and specialty training at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, and completed an oral surgery internship at the University of California, Los Angeles.
All of our doctors are board-certified in periodontology and dental implant surgery from the American Board of Periodontology.
