Kids’ Chance of Maryland
WHEN TRAGEDY STRIKES, EDUCATION SHOULDN’T BE ANOTHER CASUALTY
Each year, Maryland families face devastating loss when a parent is seriously injured or killed in a workplace accident. In the aftermath, children often carry the emotional and financial burden—especially when it comes to pursuing higher education. Kids’ Chance of Maryland exists to change that.
We provide scholarships to the children of Maryland workers who have experienced catastrophic workplace injuries. These scholarships help cover tuition, books, and fees for college or trade school attendance—giving students the chance to build a future full of possibility.
Since 1996, we’ve awarded hundreds of scholarships to students across the state. Our mission is simple: to give kids a chance to have a better future. With the support of donors, volunteers, and community partners, we turn hardship into hope—one student at a time.
Whether you’re looking to refer a student, become a sponsor, or volunteer your time, there’s a place for you in our mission. Together, we can make a lasting impact.
