Richcroft, Inc.
We are Richcroft—and for more than 40 years, we’ve been committed to supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities across Maryland. What began as a small initiative has grown into the premiere provider of residential and community-based services throughout Central Maryland.
With over 56 residential homes, Richcroft provides supportive environments that promote independence, dignity, and inclusion. Our work goes far beyond housing. In recent years, we’ve expanded to meet the evolving needs of the people we serve. Our community development services is 100 percent community based and now spans four counties, helping individuals engage meaningfully in their communities through customized support.
We also offer personal supports, respite care, and shared living programs, all tailored to empower individuals to live the lives they choose. Our newest additions—Richcroft Nursing and Clinical Service—will soon be offered to other agencies and are designed to provide specialized care for those who need it most, in both home and community settings.
Richcroft recently opened a new day service space featuring a Snoezelen Sensory room, state-of-the-art training kitchen, sport simulator, and artist area. These resources will provide opportunities for creativity, skill-building, and personal growth.
What makes Richcroft truly special is our people. We believe the heart of quality service is a well-supported workforce. That’s why we invest deeply in our direct support professionals through training, education, and a culture of respect. It’s also why we’ve been named a Top Workplace by The Baltimore Sun for three years running—and Top Workplace USA for the past two.
Led by our CEO, Kevin Drumheller, we foster a culture of servant leadership and purpose. We are proud of the impact we make—and are even more excited for what’s ahead. At Richcroft, we’re not just providing services. We’re building inclusive communities and changing lives.
