Jared Krieger, principal of KG Strategic Consultants, believes that nonprofits do essential work that is necessary for our society. However, they often operate in difficult financial positions. Many nonprofits rely on well-crafted, compliant grants to meet their missions, but it can be hard to find someone with the expertise to write these critical narratives. Krieger began the KG consultancy to assist nonprofits in increasing their ability to function by offering grant writing, consulting, strategic planning, fundraising, and capital campaign assistance for nonprofits. “This was a second career for me after leaving my family security company,” Krieger explains. “I spent over five years writing federal security grants, so this transition was natural and puts me in a great position to help my clients.”

In addition to his career qualifications, Krieger has a bachelor’s degree in homeland security and counterterrorism, a master’s degree in homeland security/ disaster management and an MBA. He is currently pursuing a doctorate in business administration with a focus on nonprofit organizational leadership and strategy. He is double board-certified in security management and physical security.

Krieger states that the consultancy guarantees its fee. “If you do not receive your funding within the performance period, you get your money back,” he says. “That is our accountability and transparency to our clients.”
