BURT’S BEES LIP BALM WITH POMEGRANATE OIL: I apply it all day long and, unlike with lipstick, my boys don’t run away when I want to kiss them.
OUIDAD CLIMATE CONTROL HEAT AND HUMIDITY GEL: Baltimore’s weather isn’t always the hair-friendliest, but my go-to gel always keeps my hair somewhat tame.
KEURIG: I am a terrible insomniac and end up awake most nights (er, mornings) from two to four-ish. Not sure I’d be able to operate during the day without my constant stream of coffee.
CAPRI BLUE VOLCANO CANDLE: It’s the only candle that successfully covers the lovely scent of little boys who can’t properly aim in the bathroom. It lasts forever, but I always have a back-up for when it burns out.
UGG SLIPPERS: I wear them to death and don’t think twice about wearing them in public. When you pay this much for slippers, they totally count as shoes.
NAVIGATION SYSTEM: We’ve lived in Baltimore for four years, but I still can’t find my way around without it. One of my son’s first phrases was, “Next right turn,” in a slightly British accent.
MZ WALLACE BABY JANE BAG: The more zippered pockets, the better, and this bag is pocket heaven. There’s a place for every little thing and almost every nasty spill wipes off with water.
GO JOGGINGS PANTS FROM OISELLE: No, I’ve never jogged a day in my life, but they’re cozy and cute and why on earth would I wear “real” pants when I work from my couch?
CARAMELS FROM MOUTH PARTY: I am completely addicted to these local treats. The sea-salt caramel is the best combination ever of sweet and salty.
AMAZON PRIME. I want to shop local . . . but laziness wins every time. I buy everything from snacks to laundry detergent to school supplies.
