Elizabeth Conklyn has been practicing law in Frederick County for more than 20 years. Before entering law, she studied social work at the University of Maryland, where she received her master’s degree in the field and went on to be clinical director of a mental health center. Pivoting to provide legal services to families in need, Conklyn studied law at the University of Baltimore. Her practice includes lending assistance to separating and divorcing parents, children, and all manner of family disputes.

Detric Kemp received his JD from Howard University and is licensed to practice in both Maryland and Washington, D.C. He has worked as a court- appointed attorney for children throughout the region. An active member of the Maryland Bar Association (where he serves as a 2018-19 state bar leadership academy fellow), he is the 2019 chair elect of the Frederick County Young Lawyers.
