2026 Best Restaurants

March 19 | 6-10pm | The Penguin Room at Whitehall Mill

Baltimore magazine celebrated its third Best Restaurants event on Thursday, March 19, at The Penguin Room at Whitehall Mill.

Guests kicked off the evening with a private happy hour at True Chesapeake, and  as they entered the event space, they were greeted by beautiful floral displays crafted by Gott Efni. Curated cocktails made with Grey Goose Vodka, Patron Tequila, Angel’s Envy Bourbon and Amber and Opal Whiskey were enjoyed while DJ Allure set the vibe for an unforgettable evening.

Guests enjoyed eight courses, sponsored by Apex Builders Group, prepared by some of the region’s best chefs highlighted on this year’s list, including: Oleum, Marta, Wye Oak Tavern, The Duchess, Magdalena, Alma Cocina Latina, True Chesapeake and Gunther & Co. Each course was paired with a wine selection from Old Westminster Winery.

Guests were encouraged to take home a custom Best Restaurants tote thanks for Gramophone, stemless wine glass courtesy of Nicks Fish House, custom candles thanks to Cypriana, a grab and go sweet treat from Yia Yia’s Bakery and snapped memories in the photo booth courtesy of Downtown Partnership of Baltimore.
