JOSHUA ADLER
An award-winning writer and speaker and talented student, Josh is the youngest published poet in Baltimore City Charm Magazine, youngest winner of the 2023 Baltimore Lyric Dream Big Poetry and Essay Contest, and winner of the College Bound Poetry Contest. He cofounded Francis Scott Key Elementary/Middle School’s The Eyrie literary magazine in 2021 and, as chief editor, led a successful Maryland Youth Arts Council grant to fund the magazine.
Josh’s public-speaking talents earned him multiple first place Baltimore Debate League awards, first place in a recent Morgan State University Science Fair for Baltimore City students, and a spot in the state-level competition for National History Day. With joy and passion, he serves in student government and on the School Family Community Council while also volunteering at Beth Am synagogue.
