CERAMIC VASE. Local ceramicist Annie Parker and I worked together to design these custom vases ex- clusive to the shop. I love the simple, modern design.
NOTEBOOK. Whether it’s notes, lists, or sketches for projects, I always have a notebook with me. In fact, I typically have two or three going at any given time.
LOOSE LEAF TEA FROM WIGHT TEA CO. I’m English, so of course I drink tea all day, and this Baltimore-made loose leaf tea makes the perfect cup.
AGATE AND CRYSTAL NECKLACE. I’ve been wear- ing this necklace almost every day lately. It’s made by local jewelry designer Natalie Chay of Wild Sol Jewelry, and I fell in love as soon as I saw it.
DOLPHIN KEY RING. My first trip on my own was to go backpacking by myself in Costa Rica when I was 19. This key ring is from that trip and reminds me of my love of travel.
DOMAIN SOAP. We worked with local soap maker Mount Royal Soap Co. to make this soap for Domain in my favorite scent, vanilla and poppy seed.
SHEET MUSIC. I studied piano as a child and recently started jazz piano lessons with local pianist Ellington Carthan. Playing piano is one of my favorite parts of the day.
COPPER CUP. My favorite cocktail is a Moscow Mule, but lately, my husband and business partner, Tim, has been making me Maryland Mules with Sagamore Spirit Rye Whiskey.
PENCILS. Both of my parents draw, and these well-used pencils were my mother’s from her school days. I took them with me to design school and now my sons use them as well.
CHESS SET. I bought this stone chess set when I went backpacking in Athens, Greece, when I was 21. My two sons and I play all the time.
