EMMY AWARDS: Not because of the accolades themselves, but because each one reminds me of the incredible people that shared very powerful and sometimes personal stories with me. They also inspire me to continue to try and do good work.
LULULEMON: I dress up every day for work. I love the comfort and style of Lululemon on my days off, even if I never actually manage to get a workout in.
MONTBLANC GRETA GARBO PEN: This was a gift to me on my first Mother’s Day. I use it every day on the anchor desk—it reminds me of my son.
LIP GLOSS: I don’t leave home without it.
BEADED BRACELET: Handmade by my son in kindergarten. It makes me feel close to him always.
JOURNAL: My mom started a diary for me the day I was born. I took it over when I was 12 years old, and have kept it up ever since.
RED VELVET CAKE: I have an incurable sweet tooth. Both Graul’s and Eddie’s have amazing bakeries.
BKR WATER BOTTLE: They’re glass, so they are BPA-free and eco-friendly, and so glamorous. I have them in several colors.
BABY WIPES: It wasn’t until I became a mom that I realized how universally useful these things are. I have them in my purse and car—never out of reach. They can get you out of a multitude of sticky situations.
ALOE VERA JUICE: Someone told me it was good for your skin. I don’t know if that’s true, but I feel better drinking it.
