Originally founded in 2012 by Nancy Salsa and Brandon Bachata and later joined by Tabitha Dance Diva, Sentimiento has represented Charm City in dance conventions throughout the country. Known as the premier Latin Dance Company out of Baltimore, the company was born out of a desire to bring different styles of Latin Dancing such as Salsa NY style (ON2) and traditional Bachata.

Dancing has a lot of benefits—it can serve as a means of self-expression, stress reliever, and creative outlet. If you enjoy being part of a team, Sentimiento has performance dance teams in Salsa ON1, Salsa ON2, and Bachata. As part of a performance team, members get to develop their dance skills, make new friends, and learn a dance number to be showcased at various conventions and events throughout the country. In addition, Sentimiento has multiple dance projects offered to the community that are open to all dance levels from beginner to advanced. Their instructors will make sure your learning experience is fun and rewarding.

If performing is not for you but you still want to learn how to Salsa, stop by and join one of the weekly classes offered at both of their studios in either the Catonsville or Hamilton areas or every Thursday at La Palapa for a weekly lesson followed by salsa dancing in Ellicott City.
