NAMI Metropolitan Baltimore

6600 York Rd., Ste. 204, Baltimore, MD 21212

The mission of NAMI Metropolitan Baltimore since 1983 has been to improve the lives of people living with mental health conditions, their families, and communities through education, support, and advocacy.

Managing mental wellness during the pandemic is incredibly challenging, especially for the 1 in 5 members of our community who live with a mental-health condition. NAMI Metro Baltimore continues to provide our free education classes and support groups, now in a virtual format. NAMI programs can help you or a loved one better understand mental health and develop coping skills for recovery. Our programs are led by trained peer volunteers, who understand mental illness first-hand. We also lead webinars and education presentations with youth, parents, and businesses to increase awareness of the signs and symptoms of mental-health conditions.

Our key events include the annual NAMIWalks event, held in June. Additionally, to ensure we can provide our services at no cost, individuals can donate online or through workplace charitable campaigns throughout the year. Corporate sponsorship opportunities are also available for events and volunteers are always needed. We can also lead training in your workplace to start a conversation about stigma and to support employee wellness. Contact [email protected]. Link for donations: namibaltimore.org/get-involved/donate.
