Flock Together for These Ravens Food and Drink Specials

Our annual running list of the best birdwatching spots for the 2023-2024 season.

Say it with us, Ravens fans: football is back. If you’re looking for somewhere to prepare for the game or celebrate a victory afterward, the local sports bar scene has got you covered (as always). From game-day spreads to bottomless beers, these spots bring the purple spirit in full force.

Angie’s Seafood: Make plans to meet fellow fans at this Upper Fells Point bar for all-day specials on game days. Among the eats and drinks on offer are  $10 wings, salmon sliders, tacos, and mussels; as well as a deal on hard-shell crabs—buy one dozen, get six free. Wash it all down with $4 Bud Light, Coors Lite, Miller Lite, and Angry Orchard bottles. Specialty cocktails—like a margarita, Long Island, and lemon drop martini—will run for $10. 1727 E Pratt St.

Bark Social: Naturally, this dog-friendly Canton bar is kicking off the season with a furry twist. Wear your team’s gear and get $2 off of any drink—which includes wine, seltzers, and 30-plus local beers. Keep an eye on Fido while enjoying snacks like loaded pretzels and enjoying all of the action on one of many flat screens. 3822 Boston St.

BMORE Around Town Tailgates: Whether you’re looking for a place to celebrate at home or showcasing your purple pride at an away game, you can count on the tailgating experts with BMORE Around Town to bring the purple party. For home games, head to the lot at the intersection of West Ostend and Leadenhall Streets to enjoy live performances (DJ Buddha and Go Go Gadget kick things off for the home opener); an open bar with plenty of beer, liquor, and Crushes to go around; bottomless barbecue; axe-throwing; and more fun. Ticket packages range from $30-300.

Cross Street Public House: Even when the birds are on the road, the party still continues at home. This Federal Hill hangout is holding watch parties during all away games on their second floor. Enjoy live game sound, a halftime DJ show, cornhole, flip cup, beer pong, Skeeball, and more. Plus, feast on food specials and take advantage of discounted drinks like $18 Bud Light buckets, $20 White Claw buckets, $22 Nutrl buckets, and $6 bombs. Start time is 12:30 p.m. 26 E Cross St.

Jimmy’s Famous Seafood TailGOAT: The Dundalk restaurant’s stadium pregames are moving to their new home at the Hammerjacks outdoor event space on Russell Street this season. Started 27 years ago, the tailgates feature live performances from celebrity guests—such as L.A.-based DJ trio Cheat Codes for the home opener against the Texans—a traditional football spread, open bar, 360-degree photo booths, bull riding, lawn games, and more. Join for one or all home games with tiered packages ranging from $40-$400. Group rates are also available. 1300 Russell St.

Michael’s Cafe: The White Marsh location of this seafood standby is rolling out a special Purple Reign Crush (berry acai vodka, triple sec, lime, and pineapple juice) on game days this season. But that’s not all. The pages-long list of specials also highlights $3 domestics, $4 White Claws, $4 Maryland beers, and a host of apps. Among them are 12-hour smoked brisket sliders, shrimp tacos, arancini, and game-day nachos. 720 Concourse Cir. Middle River.

Mother’s Federal Hill Grille: For 25 years, Mother’s has transformed its South Charles Street parking lot into its famous Purple Patio on game days. Enjoy outdoor bars, live DJs, bottomless drinks, and grilled food such as hot dogs and burgers beginning three hours before the game. Start planning your ‘fits now—you’ll stick out like a sore thumb if you’re not sporting Ravens colors. 1113 S Charles St.
