Art Space is a recurring element in the UpFront section of our print publication that spotlights a local artist or project making an impact in the city at large. Here’s what’s going on this month:

For the fourth year, Design Camp is back at Good Neighbor from July 24-29, with the Hampden coffee and décor shop creating space for the local and national design community to explore its creativity. This year’s theme will center on “objects of affection,” says brand director Justin Timothy Temple, with both free and ticketed events, like DIY workshops and speaker series, that consider the way our use of objects helps define us. Good Neighbor’s mission is to “inspire and nurture the innate creativity that everyone possesses,” says Temple. “If everyone is given that opportunity, we can continue to realize a better world.”
